Best of luck to you with your teaching endeavors!!! I know it’s a rough economy out there, but hopefully things will pick up by the time you’re ready to get out there! The one piece of advice I’d give you - if you have any desire to do Special Education, get your cert for it. There is no shame if you aren’t, it is NOT for everyone. But the need to SpEd teachers is really EXPLODING right now, and unfortunately, I do not see that dropping off any time soon. My classroom is a new SpEd class they’re opening because of increased enrollment. I’ve also heard there is a great need for bilingual teachers, as well as secondary level math and sciences.
Anyway! /end ramble that you’ve probably already heard. Regardless of what you’re doing good luck to you! <3 And thank you for the congratz!
