How do you document real life when real life's getting more like fiction each day?

When Harry returns to Hogwarts in Deathy Hallows Part 2, I always burst out into tears like a baby.

And I realized today part of that might be because it is the first time in the movie we hear the familiar Harry Potter theme (I think it’s called Hedwig’s Theme…ARGH HEDWIG THERE GOES MORE OF MY FEELS.)

Every other movie has that theme somewhere in the opening…except for Deathy Hallows 2. In this movie we first hear it when he walks through the passage to the Room of Requirement. HENCE THE TEARS.

man I am such a fucking sap.

When my child turns 11 I am going to write them a letter to Hogwarts. Once they open the letter, we will take a trip to Wizarding World and buy them all of the supplies they need to go to Hogwarts. After our trip I will tell them, “Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

Okay, I like this idea, and I KNOW I AM MISSING THE POINT BUT…Aside from the wands and a few t-shirts and sweatshirts which really only apply if you’re a Gryffindor and maaaaybe Slytherin, cause LOL WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT THOSE OTHER HOUSES?! (the merchandisers in the parks certain don’t…)

I TOTALLY recommend buying Harry Potter stuff at Whimsic Alley. I have three different Gryffindor sweaters from them, I wear them for work and cosplay, and they are very good quality for a reasonable price! They also have all kinds of other fun Harry Potter themed stuff. I’ve been shopping from them for years. DO IT.
